Newly unveiled URA FC coach Ibrahim Kirya has vowed to transform the club's fortunes.

Kirya was unveiled by URA FC's new chairman James Kizza at URA headquarters in Nakawa.

"We need to better our performance. I was here some years ago and I believe we can win again trophies like we used to do in the" stated Kirya.

The former SC Villa coach who signed a three year contract replaced Kefa Kisaala who was sacked on Monday; a consequence of URA's poor form.

He will be deputized by James Odoch who has been acting in interim capacity.

At the same function, Kizza was officially handed the instruments of power by outgoing club chairman Ali Ssekatawa.

URA is currently fifth on the table with 27 points, 11 behind leaders KCCA who also have two games in hand.

Out of the 19 games they have played, the tax collectors have registered five wins, 12 draws and two loses.
