Christians mark beginning of Lent

Catholics world over have started the lent period. At St Peter's Church Nsambya, the Ash Wednesday mass was led by Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala.

Cardinal Wamala said that liturgical season of lent begins on Ash Wednesday.

He urged Christians to shun evil in the Lenten season.
