Onyango ruled out of KCCA tie

Uganda Cranes and Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Dennis Onyango has been ruled out for a month due to injury.

The former SC Villa player sustained a knee injury during Mamelodi Sundowns 2-0 win over Bidvest Wits in the Absa Premiership.

Onyango sustained the injury after just 23 minutes and was replaced by Wayne Sandilands.

He joins Khama Billiat, Anthony Laffor and defender Anele Ngcongca who all sidelined for the South Africa based side for four to five games due to injury.

This means the four players will not feature for Sundowns when they face KCCA FC in the CAF Champions League.

Sundowns will host the first leg on March 10th before they travel for the return leg in Kampala on March 18th.
