The Dean of St. Mathew Cathedral Kyamate in South Anokole Diocese Rev. Can. Joash Tushangomujuni has officially installed Rev. Ronald Namanya as the new priest of Nyaburiza COU.

Namanya now becomes the second priest of Nyaburiza COU replacing Rev. Polly Baitwa who was recently ordained by Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe as the Archdeacon of Kibatsi COU.

The function was held at St. James Nyaburiza COU on Sunday where the Tushangomujuni was the guest of honour.

In his sermon, Tushangomujuni advised Namanya who is also the deanery mission coordinator and chaplain of all priests in the Kyamate deanery to be hard working since Nyaburiza COU is known as a model parish.

Tushangomujuni also encouraged him to work closely with his stakeholders including head of laity Caleb Ngabirano, church pillars, elders, lay canons, his assistant Rev. Scovia Namanya, church wardens and entire Christians if he is to develop the area.

During the service, over 20 Christians accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviour and were blessed by the dean.
