Vipers' Ssentamu doubtful for Express clash

Vipers midfielder Siraje Sentamu is doubtful for the clash against Express in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

Ssentamu sustained an injury during the CAF Confederation Cup match against Club Volcan De Moroni on Saturday.

The club's medical team is still hopeful Ssentamu will recover ahead of Friday's trip to Wankulukuku.

Vipers coach Richard Wasswa hopes to enlist the services of Deus Bukenya, Brian Nkuubi and Keziron Kizito if Ssentamu is ruled out.

The Kitende side is currently fourth on the table with 27points, eight behind leaders and defending champions KCCA FC.

The match will be only Vipers' second game since the second round of the league started. They registered a 2-0 victory over Lweza two weeks ago in their only game.

Wasswa who is still unbeaten in the league since replacing Abdullah Mubiru in December will be plotting for revenge against an Express side that beat Vipers at home 1-0 in the first round.
