Namugongo headmistress dead

The ugly hands of death have robbed Namugongo Girls Boarding Primary school of its headmistress, Agnes Nakabugo, who died yesterday afternoon.

The 55-year-old who succumbed to pneumonia.She left the school yesterday at 11:00am with a friend to go for official duty, few hours later, teachers at the school received news that she had passed on.

The Namugongo deputy head teacher Robert Kamgoa, in a sad tone said "Our headmistress was an amazing head teacher. Children, staff and parents always spoke so highly of her"

 "She was a kind, caring and compassionate woman who always worked hard to do the right thing. She had a positive impact on the lives of so many children and their families," Kamoga said.

Nakabugo's body is still at Mulago hospital for a postmortem, thereafter tomorrow they will be a requiem mass at the Namugongo Basilica at 11:00am.

After the mass, family will take her body to her resident in Kapelenge, a long Bombo road. Then burial will be for Saturday.

"She will be buried on Saturday because the family is still waiting for her relatives abroad." said Kamoga.

Nakabugo, got married in 2015.
