Several churches have organized prayers to prepare believers for the New Year. This is a time to thank God for keeping you alive this year and to ask for blessings in the New Year. Below are some of the worship centers which will hold prayers for the New Year

Watoto Church Central

December 31: Annual New Year's over night from 7:00pm till dawn. There will also be praise and worship from local gospel artist

Miracle Center Cathedral, Rubaga

Prayer, music, praise and worship overnight with fireworks at midnight. Entrance is free.

Christ the King

Midnight mass to usher Christians into the New Year from 11:30pm to 1:00am

Namboole Passover festival

The 15th Passover festival will be held at Namboole stadium. Under the theme ‘A new Era: a fruitful season.' It will start at 8:00am till dawn.

Nakivubo Stadium

Every New Year eve, Pastor David Kigganda of Christian Focus Center holds a prayer night at Nakivubo Stadium and this year is no exception. The overnight festival will be happening and if you want to enter the New Year purified, then Nakivubo is the place to be.

Canaan Land

 Sacrifice your sleep and come to express your devotion and gratitude to God for seeing you through 2016. Prayers will be hosted by Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of House of prayer ministries. Chances are that you will be shown live on Salt TV.

Kololo Airstrip

Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga will be joined by his followers at Kololo Airstrip. He will be praying for believers to get into the New Year with blessings.

Other worship places to be are Bukalango prayer center, Namirembe Cathedral, St Francis Chapel, Gospel Life Church in Namasuba, and All Saints Cathedral among others.
