Hima Cement sponsored Apolot, a two-time International Champion and a one-time intercontinental champion will be fighting for an African title against Tunisia's Lakrech Yosra while Alex Matsiko and Shakey Mubiru will defend the WKF International Kick Boxing titles against Khalil Dermech and Ben Anes Montassar of Tunisia.

Despite the experienced opposition that awaits the Ugandans, all are optimistic of a good outing come the 'Reign of Giants' fight night.

"I'm well prepared for this because all along it has been my dream to fight for an international belt. It is my time to shine and bring glory home; I'm always confident fighting away, so this is going to be a new experience with everyone including family members around, so I have a lot to prove, but what I promise is a show of skill and endurance; I'm ready to die for my fans so I have to get this win," Mubiru stated.

"I have gone through a lot of drills with my coach and following my wins in Europe, Asia I can only promise doom for my opponent, I'm called 'breaker, breaker' so fans should come and support their homeboy," Mubiru vowed.

"Black Pearl" Apolot said she was not shaken by the experience of her opponent and promised to do all it takes to ensure the title stays at home because, "no one can mess with me in my home''.

It was not any different for Matsiko who also promised to use the experience he has gained to challenge the best, before calling on fans to come and witness for themselves.

Coach Adam Boumadi said his fighters were working hard and are confident despite the experience of their opponents.

"They now know that they are facing hard and experienced opponents but they are going to challenge and beat them, we are going to do our best. We thank all sponsors who have made this possible," Boumadi said.

Apolot will be fighting in the low kick while the boys will challenge in the K-1 styles.

HBT hotel will provide accommodation, transport and the training gym to all the foreign fighters. The other sponsors include Hima, Pemba Sports Africa, ETM Church, Big Zone Investments and Azam TV.
