Maroons closed the gap between them and table leaders Ndejje University in the Elgon Group of the FUFA Big League.

The Luzira side defeated Sporting United 2-1 away at Lango Sports Ground. The win put Maroons on 18 points,one below group leaders Ndejje University. Maroons still have two games in hand.

At Namugongo, Kira United settled  to one all draw with Paidha Black Angels while Artland Katale  beat Dove All Stars 2-0.

In the Rwenzori Group, Masavu beat Kireka United  2-1  to extend their lead in the group to 20 points.
