F1 fans treated to trip of a lifetime

The trio met with legendary F1 drivers including race winner and reigning champion Lewis Hamilton

The 2016 Brazilian Grand Prix will always be remembered for taking the bitter race for the championship between Mercedes team-mates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton to the wire.

But for three Ugandan F1 fanatics, the Grand Prix will live in memory for even more special reasons.

Sidi Bagarukire, Patrick Mweheire and Bob Kabonero will live to tell the tale of their trip to Interlagos for the race that has been described as the best of the 2016 season.

The three are members of Uganda Breweries Limited exclusive Blue Club and the trip to Brazil was a membership reward, of which they are several.

But obviously, rewards don't come any better than VVIP treatment at an F1 race. Of course, they had an all access pass and made the most of it.

The trio met with legendary F1 drivers including race winner and reigning champion Lewis Hamilton after the race.

They met with F1 Group CEO Bernie Ecclestone in addition to exploiting all the other perks of their exclusive paddock access.
