2 Policemen killed in Kasese, guns taken

Police are investigating a case where two policemen were killed in Kasese and their guns were taken.

This incident happened at Katwe in Kasese Town Council near Queen Elizabeth National Park when two policemen number 59863 PC Dansan Tweheyo and number 56583 PC Kalemeera who were guarding   Simba Tourist Lodge were killed by unidentified assailants.

Police spokesperson, Andrew Flex Kaweesi, said they have arrested some people including the assistant manager of the lodge Jjuma Tembo to assist them in their investigations.
