Abilonino Demonstration Primary School produced more than 10 first grades in last year’s PLE

Kole District Education Officer (DEO), Tom Okare, has promised to reward all pupils of the district who will pass with first grades in the upcoming Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

Okare revealed the plan at Abilonino Demonstration Primary School at a dedication prayer for 86 pupils of the school who will sit PLE next week.

He said parents should work hand in hand with teachers so that performance in PLE improves unlike in the past where parents used to keep pupils at home leading to wastage of time.

Betty Nam the Kole LC5 chairperson said as a district, they are committed to ensuring that education especially for girls will be a priority. She offered pens and mathematical sets to all candidates of Abilonino.

She commended Tom Richard Ongom the Abilonino head teacher for producing more than 10 first grades in last year's PLE making them the best government primary school in Kole.
