FUFA mourns fallen Kaberamaido administrator

He is to be laid to rest today in Anyara Sub Country

National soccer governing body FUFA joined the football fraternity to pay tribute to Kaberamaido District Football Association chairman Simon Ediedu who passed on Tuesday at Soroti Hospital.

Ediedu had been admitted after suffering injuries when he hit his head on the wall of a bridge.

The late Ediedu who was elected chairman in 2012 was riding his motorcycle in Kaberamaido when a tyre burst and he lost control.

"We have lost a very young football administrator. Ediedu has been serving football whole heartedly. We shall miss him," said FUFA president Moses Magogo.

"We send our condolences to the people in Kaberamaido and North East Region Football Association and the entire football fraternity following the death of a man who loved football and his country" Magogo added.

He is to be laid to rest today in Anyara Sub Country, Kaberamaido District.
