As the  National Basketball League (NBL) playoffs draw closer, the season's new entrants JKL Lady Dolphins will be playing against the KIU Rangers on Wednesday at the YMCA

Despite the six loses in their previous games, JKL still intends to put up a boundless performance in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) as they face KIU in their 20th game of the regular season.

Coming from second division, Dolphins have managed to move to the top five positions of the first division with a fairly promising performance.

JKL's senior player Peace Nakilija explained that the absence of Purity Odhianbo has greatly affected the performance of the team but nevertheless they are still strong as a team and are ready to take on the Rangers.

"Odhiambo's presence would have made a great change in the performance of our team especially in the games that we had against the UCU lady Canons and the A1 challenge because she is someone who understands the game."  Nakilija said

"Nevertheless, we are still capable of putting up a good performance even without her. All we have to do is use what we have as we try to see that she comes back for the play offs because our faith is running out." She added

On the other hand, the KIU rangers‘s  coach Nimron  Kabohak told the New vision that despite the absence of some of his good players like Aisha Nakabubi and Florence Nanyonga he has prepared his team to the best of his ability.
