This comes after Speaker Rebecca Kadaga last month in a plenary session, expressed disappointment with the way the media was covering the Tenth Parliament which she says was tarnishing the image of Parliament.

The Rules, discipline and privileges committee of Parliament has this morning started meeting News editors of media houses to explain the negative media coverage of the 10th Parliament.

The committee started its meetings with  Vision Group's Editor-in-Chief Barbara Kaija who was accompanied by the editor New Vision John Kakande.

This comes after Speaker Rebecca Kadaga last month in a plenary session, expressed disappointment with the way the media was covering the Tenth Parliament which she says was tarnishing the image of Parliament.

She ordered the Rules, discipline and privileges committee to summon all editors.

However, the committee chairperson has blocked members of the media from covering this meeting, noting that it will cause a conflict of interest on their side.
