Celebrated young gospel singer Gloria Mulungi Ssenyonjo commonly known as Baby Gloria has decided to give back to society by helping deprived children with scholastic materials.
The singer was launching her ministry dubbed "Gloria's heart," on September 23, 2016 in Ghetto, Namuwongo at Oasis Church which was attended by close 800 children.
Gloria says she was overwhelmed by the success.
The day was spiced up with her popular musical hits that spurred her to stardom. Gloria sung and danced with other fellow artists.
However, it was an interesting scene when the children, most of them from less privileged families scrambled and fought for the scholastic materials she had brought for them.
"We had budgeted for 300 children, but we were overwhelmed by the big turn up," Gloria said after the launch of her ministry.
She is destined to visit the Cancer Institute at Mulago Hospital.
"It high time that gospel artists start helping others with what God has blessed them with," Gloria said.
Gloria's mother, a fellow gospel singer, Betty Nakibuka, said her daughter used the proceeds from her recent musical show to reach out to the children.
