Paul Mucureezi scored the only goal as KCCA defeated Saints 1-0 at the Phillip Omondi Stadium to remain top in the Azam Uganda Premier League table.

The 30^th minute strike helped the Lugogo side move to twelve points one above second placed SC Villa who defeated Proline 3-0 at Namboole.

Alex Kitaata, Vitalis Tabu and Dennis Kamanzi each netted a goal for the Jogoos.

At At Wankulukuku, Milton Kaliisa was on target as Express lost 1-0 to BUL while newly promoted Kirinya Jinja SS and Onduparaka played to a goalless draw in Bugembe.

In Lugazi, URA played to a 2-2 draw with Lweza at Metha Stadium while Frank Kalanda's brace and Emmanuel Kalyowa's strike were enough for Soana to defeat Police in the Kavumba derby.

Elsewhere, JMC drew 1-1 with Vipers while Bright Stars beat Sadolin Paints 1-0 at Champion Stadium in Matugga.
