Azam Uganda Premier League
Vipers coach Abdullah Mubiru has urged his players to show character and desire when they travel to Kakindu Stadium to face JMC Hippos on Tuesday in the Azam Uganda Premier League.
"It is an important game but we have the desire to compete and win there" Mubiru stated.
In their last meeting in Jinja last season both sides played out a goalless draw.
JMC goes into today's game off the back of a 3-1 loss to URA while Vipers defeated BUL 1-0 and this gives Mubiru confidence that his side will perform.
"This must continue we haven't done anything yet, we are just starting and now play another stubborn side" he added.
Vipers are currently second on the league table with eight points, seven above JMC who are rooted to the bottom of the log.
KCCA who host Saints are top with nine points.
