Sep 08, 2016
Mukono's poster boy Zephania Arinaitwe who posted double figures against Masaka is expected to drive his team
After cruising into the semifinals following a Resounding victory against Masaka SS, Mukono Parents Coach Frank Nsubuga is confident his boys will gun down Nyakasura when the two sides meet on Thursday in one of the semifinals at the Kyambogo oval.
"This is a game we have to win. We are ready to give our all. It's a fight till the end" said 36 year old Nsubuga.
Mukono's poster boy Zephania Arinaitwe who posted double figures against Masaka is expected to drive his team past a committed Nyakasura who registered a surprise 1 wicket win against Kololo SS.
Arinaitwe struck a half century of 73 from 41 balls in the first innings for his side to set a formidable target of 203 which indeed the masaka outfit could not chase as they only managed 22.
Still in the second innings, Joshua Akandwanaho and Co were all out courtesy of Simon Oketcho and Zephania Arinaitwe who claimed 4/5 in 4 overs and 3/10 in 4 overs respectively.
Meanwhile it's an all Eastern region affair in the other semifinal when two giants Jinja SS and defending champions Mwiri meet at the lugogo oval today.
