A walk over against Rockets club kept Wanachi as the table leaders in the National Hockey league at twenty five points in the round three this weekend at lugogo.

One of the Rockets player revealed that most of the team's players had travelled with some secondary schools to act as coaches for the 15th edition of FESSSA games 2016 competitions in Kenya Eldoret.

"We could not play alone when the team needs about 14 players to be present, some of our players are not present for the game. "He said.

Elsewhere, in other men's game, Simba skipper Ali Mohamed striked twice to secure a triumph win against second placed Weatherhead.

"It is a good result because our game was the toughest in this weekend and am sure it's a good beginning in  the  round three," Mohamed said.

In the women's games, Kampala's Sandra Namusoke scored the only goal that brought down the winning efforts of the second placed Weatherhead Gazelles at the 13th minute.

Also the resilient Deliverance kicked off the round three of the league with 3-0 confortable win against WHC Jaguars on sartuday.
