I have spread Ugandan culture abroad, says Kenzo

While addressing journalists at Hotel Africana on Monday morning Kenzo said that he has travelled to different countries like United States of America, Ghana, Kenya and Democratic Republic of Congo among other countries spreading the culture through his songs.

Big Talent Chief Executive Officer Idris Musuuza, best known as Eddy Kenzo has said he has spread Ugandan culture globally.

Addressing journalists at Hotel Africana on Monday Kenzo said that he has travelled to different countries like United States of America, Ghana, Kenya and Democratic Republic of Congo among other countries spreading the culture through his songs.

"I have spread Ugandan culture to the world; people have internationally recognized and are proud of it", said Kenzo.

He also promised to thrill fans at his fourth coming maiden concert titled "Kenzo live 2016" that will take place at Hotel Africana on Friday this week. "It will be a huge concert. I am ready to make my fans and sponsors happy on that day"

The BET award winner asked other artistes in Uganda to work hard and bring more awards to their home country, this is the time to move Uganda forward by bringing more awards," said Kenzo.

The Tourism State Minister Kiwanda Suubi noted that Eddy Kenzo is not only recognised in Uganda, but also abroad.

He revealed that the Ministry of tourism is yet to start music festivals at national parks as a way of promoting music and the tourism industry at ago, "we shall be taking musicians to our national parks to perform from there and I am sure that this will improve on the number of tourists coming to Uganda," said Kiwanda.

Big Talent Crew manager, Derrick revealed that gates will be open by 6pm on Friday.
