The LCV vice chairperson of Pallisa district Patrick Oduc has warned medics in the district involved in drug theft from government health facilities that they risk arrest and prosecution in the courts of law.

He says theft of drugs and equipment from public health units has become a habit and that they are working hand-in-hand with different stakeholders to ensure that the vice is curbed.

He also warns health workers against demanding for money from patients in order to get treatment.

Oduc appeals to locals to report any medical personnel involved in drug theft to the concerned authorities for appropriate action.
