Govt ordered to present list of companies to be compensated

The legislators led by Chairperson, Kenneth Lubogo want to understand why government has come up with the proposal of helping South Sudan compensate to a tune of 60 million dollars.

The ministry of trade has been asked to produce before Parliament a list of all companies that are set to be compensated by the South Sudan government for the losses incurred since the conflicts broke out.

This directive has been issued by the Parliament committee on trade.

 The legislators led by Chairperson, Kenneth Lubogo want to understand why government has come up with the proposal of helping South Sudan compensate to a tune of 60 million dollars.

However, state minister for Trade and Industry, Michael Werikhe said government is extending a loan which shall be paid back by the government of South Sudan.
