EC hands over 2016 general elections report

The EC spokesperson Jotham Taremwa noted that they are required by law to hand over the report to the minister who in turn presents it to Parliament.

The Electoral Commission boss Badru Kiggundu has handed over the 2016 general elections report to the Minister of Justice and Constitutional affairs.
Kiggundu who was accompanied by some EC officials including the secretary to the commission Sam Rwakojjo, handed over the report to Gen. Kahinda Otafiire on Friday at the ministry headquarters.
In an interview with Xfm, the EC spokesperson Jotham Taremwa noted that they are required by law to hand over the report to the minister who in turn presents it to Parliament.
He further said that they will distribute the same report to all stakeholders involved in the electoral process.
