Vipers appoint new board members

All new executive members were officially given their contracts with their specified duties

Vipers Sports Club has appointed Abbey Mukiibi as their ambassador with an aim of promoting its brand.

This was revealed by the club president Lawrence Mulindwa during the inaugural club executive meeting at Jevine Hotel in Wakaliga.

"I want to take this opportunity to announce Abbey Mukiibi as our brand Ambassador. He will be tasked with promoting the club brand and maintaining its image from now on," Mulindwa stated.

During the same function, all new executive members were officially given their contracts with their specified duties.

Also in attendance was the club's sponsorship and marketing manager Simon Ssekankya who promised to take Vipers to the top of Ugandan football with finding a shirt sponsor one his first targets.

Ssekankya appointed Wycliffe Luyombya (brand manager) and Robert Ssentongo (promotions manager) as some of the members he will work with.

Other members on the committee that attended the meeting included; Kyobe Haruna the head of technical, Kenneth Muwanga who is in charge of media, CEO Peter Lwanga, Vincent Ssajjabi the finance manager, Ronald Ssali the coach in charge of the academy, Richard Wasswa the head of scouting and George William Mulindwa the club chairman.
