Uganda slipped one place in the new Frisbee world rankings, New Vision understands.
According to the new rankings by the World Flying Disc Federation, Uganda is currently ranked 44th, down one place from the previous rankings.
The Flying Cranes were leapfrogged by Slovenia in 43rd; a position Uganda has held for just one year after they won the All Africa Ultimate Frisbee Championships in September last year at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
The new rankings come at the time when Uganda is gearing up for the 7 Hills Classics due 10-11th September at GEMS Cambridge where teams including teams from Makindye, Gulu, Entebbe, Kampala, Kisumu, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi and Canada will do battle.
