Let's have a quick look at what's in today's New Vision paper which, if you are in Kampala, you can pick from your local stand or if you are the swiping and tapping on screen type, then you can read the electronic version (e-paper) HERE.

OK, with that said, today's edition leads with the President firing the entire staff of a health facility in Wakiso district. Oh wait, only one was spared the boot. Why were they sacked and why did one survive? There's a full page on that (Page 3).

We also have President Yoweri Museveni again in the news. This time, he is expressing concern about the high taxes on businesses. He is saying that such taxes discourage private investment and reduce business expansion.

Meanwhile, the Ugandan cabinet has approved granting of licenses to Tullow Oil and  Total to embark on production of oil blocks in the Albertine graben.

Meanwhile, opposition politician Dr. Kizza Besigye is talking land reforms. Find out what he warns might happen if some sections of the proposed land reforms are implemented on Page 8 of Uganda's Leading Daily.

Also on the same page and a story on Besigye. Police commanders are ordered to drop all the masked men used in operations to neutralize suspected rowdy crowds.

And in today's commentary pages, bailout, seed distribution, malnutrition and fraudsters are the various subjects written about.
