Rotary 5-A-side football tournament

Mugisha who heads the whole district that includes two countries Tanzania and Uganda made the remarks at the closing of the one day rotary football tournament at the Kyadondo Rugby grounds on Saturday.

The newly Rotaract governor elect Kenny Mugisha has urged the corporates and interested authorities to always participate in different activities that will keep the pace of promoting world peace and understanding.

Mugisha who heads the whole district that includes two countries Tanzania and Uganda made the remarks at the closing of the one day rotary football tournament at the Kyadondo Rugby grounds on Saturday.

"Am so grateful for this tournament having been successful and I urge the different companies, societies and groups to always come together and we support the community service projects that improves the lives of less advantaged," Mugisha said.

"I thank the Kiwatule Rotact club for having organized such colourful event that has brought Rotarians together and also thank the sponsors who have contributed towards this tournament", He added

The second event organized by Kiwatule Rotact club  had Rotary and Rotaract clubs from within the areas of Kampala,Gulu,Hoima and some corporate companies from Nile Breweries Ltd,Jubilee Insurance,letshego,National Water and Sewerage Corporation,KCB,Britam Insurance and Jubilee Insurance.

The funds raised through gate collections were used to award the best performing clubs in the different categories of tournament of which will later help the clubs to boost their projects.

The best four Under Rotaract category.

1. Kyengera club 2m (Champions)

2. Kyambogo1.5m (runners up)

3. Kampala the core1m.

4. Bugolobi 500k.
