Bishop Drandua in hospital for three weeks

Jul 27, 2016

"I have a hiccup and a very strong dry cough."

Bishop Emeritus of Arua Catholic Diocese Fredrick Drandua is unwell and has been admitted at Maracha Mission Hospital for the last three weeks.

Doctors are doing all they can to pinpoint at the exact problem troubling the clergyman.

"The doctors are trying their level best. We have gone to all levels of treatment," he told Arua One FM from his hospital bed.

He says he has a cough and is finding difficulty in passing waste.

"I have a hiccup and a very strong dry cough. I also have an ulcer on my chest. And then it's almost impossible for me to push down any waste that is there in the rectum.

"It is a rather funny sickness and the doctors are trying to find out what to do," said the low-spirited bishop.
