Ochaya invited to South Africa for trials

The KCCA left back who is working on his travel documents, is be expected to leave the country on Wednesday.

South African side Bidvest Wits has invited  KCCA's Joseph Ochaya fortrials.

The KCCA  left back who is working on his travel documents, is be expected to leave the country on Wednesday.

If Ochaya moves to Bidvest Wits it won't his first stint outside Uganda.

Ochaya left KCCA in 2012 for Ghana's Asante Kotoko where he featured for close to two seasons before falling out with the club in 2014.  The matter was later referred to FIFA that granted him permission to join his former club.

If he succeeds,  he  will  join other Ugandan  players  who  are featuring  for different  clubs  in South Africa.  These include; Uganda Cranes captain Geoffrey Massa who plays for Bloemfontein Celtics, Denis Onyango a first choice goalkeeper at reigning league champions, Mamelodi Sun downs and Chrizestom Ntambi  who is with Vasco Da Gama  in the second division.
