Kipmos identified bee-keeping and honey processing.

When a youthful Abraham Kipmos failed to get employed in Kampala as a plumber in 2013, he chose to return to his village in Kapchorwa.

"I could not waste time walking the streets of Kampala looking for a job," he says.

In Kapchorwa, he identified bee-keeping and honey processing and he took it on.

Today, 31-year-old Kipmos runs one of the biggest honey brands in Kapchorwa under the brand Elgon honey. His products are now consumed countrywide too.
