The United States of America Independence celebrations fall on July 4 but the celebrations in Uganda took place on Tuesday July 12, 2016.

The U.S. ambassador to Uganda, Deborah R. Malac was in jovial mood as she welcomed and hugged almost each and every invited guest. Her dancing skills however, left many in attendance in awe.

The guest of honour, the state minister for Foreign Affairs, Henry Oryem Okello feared to take her on but nevertheless, he pulled off a few strokes.

It was cool as the American band performed some Luganda lyrics.
