TZ music star Diamond Platinumz 'worth $4m'

Tanzania's music star Diamond Platinumz, who is the husband of former Kampala Socialite Zari Hassan, is a millionaire.

Recently, a show on one of South Africa's biggest entertainment channels placed him as the richest musician in Tanzania.

The show gives viewers an exclusive insight into the life of Africa's most notable and loved celebrities, giving them a taste of what it is like to live life in the limelight.

During the show, it was revealed that Diamond Platnumz's worth stands at $4m, with most of his money coming from shows, brand ambassadorial deals and endorsements from high-profile companies in entertainment, beverages and telecommunications.

Royalties, ringtones and call back tones have also made the Number one singer a lot of money.

His status is expected to soar even more with his newest investment WCB Records expected to get him a lot of money through its artists' split shares in shows, royalties and other revenue avenues.

Diamond Platinumz has also heavily invested in real estate.
