JULY 7, 1971
President Amin ordered the closure of the border with Tanzania and Rwanda, and the suspension of flights to and from Kigali (flights to and from Tanzania had been suspended in February); he also ordered Tanzanian officials of the East African Community and East African Development Bank to be barred from entering Uganda.
