President Yoweri Museveni has finally met opposition political party leaders and accepted to engage them on key issues affecting the country.

The crucial meeting took place on Friday at State House Entebbe and involved a high power delegation of 14 opposition leaders from the leading political parties in the country.

The opposition was led by DP's secretary general, Mathias Nsubuga.

Nsubuga told New Vision that Museveni agreed on a number of key issues during the meeting except on releasing former Forum for Democratic Change leader Kizza Besigye.
