'Ugandan Dads' photo exhibition

We present to you the top 13 photos from the competition courtesy of the Swedish Embassy.

During the month of May, the Swedish Embassy organised a photo competition purposed to showcase positive male role models in Uganda that contribute to equal opportunities in society. With the knowledge that men play an important role to foster girls and boys that are confident about their rights and responsibilities, the competition sought to challenge the stereotypes that exist (in all societies) about what is typically male and what a man “should” do. Over 150 photos were received from the public of men who take an active role as parents and/or who share household work with their spouse or partner. Here, we present the top 13 photos from the competition courtesy of the Swedish Embassy.
