Ugandans set for Kenya Tennis Open

Mugabe who won the event in 2013, recently lost in the singles and double categories of the Mozambique F2 Fututes.

Uganda top tennis players Duncan Mugabe and David Oringa are set to take part in this year's Kenya Open Tennis Championships.

Mugabe who won the event in 2013, recently lost in the singles and double categories of the Mozambique F2 Fututes.

Oringa who participated in last year's event was eliminated in the semis-finals by Changawa. Oringa and Mugabe  will  be joined  by other Ugandans in the  tournament. The one-week event will run from June 18-25.

Changawa edged  Zambia's Edgar Kazembe in straight sets to clinch his second consecutive and last year's singles event at the Nairobi Club .
Changawa did not only win comfortably but also came from behind in both sets to defeat Kazembe 6-4, 6-3.

In the  women category, Burundi's Sada Nahimana  beat  Kenya's Nikita Dawda in straight sets of 6-2, 6-3 to win the final.
