FUFA's disagreements with National Council of Sports (NCS) over regulations that are required all sports governing bodies for them to be registered as trustees of their respective disciplines is not about to an end.
FUFA president Moses Magogo while addressing a weekly press briefing at the Federation's headquarters today said that some NCS officials were bent towards frustrating his federation. He however declined to name the officials
"This thing (regulations) was stage managed to create a potential clash (between FUFA and NCS). Otherwise how do you explain the country living 50 years without the regulations and now we must have them within two or three weeks? What is the rush for?" Magogo asked.
He accused NCS of refusing to listen to their grievances regarding the regulations.
Magogo said that NCS has refused to respond to their request to sit with FIFA officials and discuss demands of the regulations contravening the world football governing body's statutes.
NCS general secretary Nicholas Muramagi has insisted that all the associations and federations have up to June 30th to register or any other group of people will be allowed to take over the federations that will have failed to register.
