Blick insists NRC title race remains wide open

The national rally champion Arthur Blick has insisted that this year's title race is still wide open and that it is too early to write him off.

Blick told New Vision after the  Mountains of the Moon rally in Fort Portal on Sunday  where he finished tenth.

"The title race is still open. Today it was not our day, we had four punctures, a broken rear handle, a shock absorber and our Jake refused work," The 2015 Nile Special USPA rally driver of the year stated.

He added that we are left with three events and those are enough to change the table standings.

"I'm in fourth position with 165 points behind the table leader Mangat (300) and that can be over turned in two events," Blick said.

Meanwhile Ronald Ssebuguzi crashed his Evo 10 at the flying finish, damaging the tie rod end and wind screens.

Jas Mangat won the event while Desh Kananura and Adam Rauf finished second and third respectively.
