Sport-S VC which finished third at the genocide memorial tournament in 2014, is among Ugandan clubs travelling for the annual event in Kigali on Friday.

"Teams leave Kampala for the Kigali with biased minds that the officiation will be against them. It affects your mind when you start to see it happen. Ugandan teams are capable of winning in Kigali but they should avoid the bias and play their game," Otim advised.

KAVC, Nemostars and Sport-S volleyball clubs have confirmed their presence to compete at the memorial Cup this weekend.

KAVC, Sport-S and Ndejje will field both men and women teams while GoodsExpress.com sponsored Nemostars and Vision Volleyball Camp will have only the men and women teams respectively.

This year's competition that has attracted 22 teams from Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, DR Congo, South Sudan, Burundi, Tanzania and Congo-Brazzaville will be staged in 10 different venues before it climaxes at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.
