Leila Blick out to make amends for Masaka heatbreak

Despite failing to complete in the Masaka Rally, female rally driver Leila Blick Mayanja has vowed to come back in style during the Fort Portal rally next month.

Leila told New Vision that her steering broke down in the last section of the rally which led her to drop out.

"I was in a good position but my steering broke and I had no option but in Fort Portal I will be back in style," Leila stated.

The former two-wheel drive champion added that she is not scared of battling men alone and she will take them on.

She however appealed to all women out there to join motorsport so that they can battle men favourably.

She also appealed to the corporate world to support her buy a new powerful Mitsubishi Evo9 car that will enable her to successfully compete with men.
