Uganda Railways Board interdicted four senior financial managers and officers who included the Corporation's Financial Controller, Joseph Nyekwaso, the Lock-Shed Master, James Ssebaduka, the Resident Representative of URC in Mombasa, Milton Kandole and the Senior Accountant at the Goods Shed, Michael Kikawa due to a sustained financial mismanagement in the Corporation of millions of money and an over 10bn/= debt.
This came in the wake of Parliament's recommendations that URC Managing Director Enos Tumusiime should lose his job for alleged mismanagement and corruption in the Corporation.
