Do not use the church to get riches - Rt. Bp Kisekka

Bp. Kisekka made the remarks during a fundraising at St. Paul's cathedral Namirembe today (Sunday).

The Rt. Bishop of Laweero Evans Mukasa Kisekka has urged Christians to serve the church free of charge and without being pushed as God gives them life free of charge

Bp. Kisekka made the remarks during a fundraising at St. Paul's cathedral Namirembe today (Sunday).

Bp. Kisekka cautioned Christians who use church work to get riches and gave an example of Christians who fundraise for church services but instead use it for their own needs.

He further urged Christians to lead a Christ like life adding that this is the only way they will leave a legacy after their life on earth.

The Rt. Bp. Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyooyo also advised the youth to work and save for their future to prevent them from facing financial problems especially when get old.

The service was graced by the Namirembe cathedral dean Rev. Can. Benon Kityo, the principal Uganda Martyrs seminary Namugongo Rev. Can. Henry Segawa.

The money collected will help complete construction of the Anglican Martyrs shrines at Namugongo.
