Sport-S (women) and Sky volleyball clubs (men) are the new champions of KIU Open volleyball championships.

Sport-S with Atreede Agaba, Eunice Amuron and Peace Busingye scoring at will at KIU courts, defended it comfortably on Sunday when they beat Vision Volleyball Camp (VVC) 25-23, 25-15, 33-31 in the final.

In the men's category, Sky VC beat Sport-S 25-19, 25-17, 25-22.

Armed with Emma Kato, coach player Isaac Omedo, Phillip Wandawa, Nicholas Dheyongera, Jonathan Akugizibwe and their most expensive acquisition Cuthbert Malinga, Sky VC is focused away from basic 'get ball over the net' style of volleyball.
