Minister inspects Isimba hydropower project

Energy and mineral development minister Irene Muloni on Wednesday toured the 183MW Isimba hydro-power dam project in Kayunga district, central Uganda.

While there, she was briefed on the progress of the project by the consulting engineers of China International Water and Electric Corporation, a Chinese government-owned power company contracted to do the work.
