The National Curriculum Development Centre is a corporate body under the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Sports .It is responsible for inter alia the development of materials for various levels of education (i.e. Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary), organizing capacity building courses for stakeholders on curricula and matters related to curriculum.
(a) Job Title: Curriculum Specialist Biology- Secondary
Age: 25- 50 years
Scale: CD 5
Responsible to: Head of Secondary

Qualifications:
• Masters of Science in Biology or any other related subject. Bachelor of Education - Science (with Biology as a teaching subject) or Bachelor of Science with Education (with Biology as a teaching subject) or Bachelor of Science with Biology as one of the subjects with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education • Must be computer literate.
(b) Job Title: Curriculum Specialist Science- Primary
Age: 25- 50 years
Scale: CD 5
Responsible to: Head of Pre-Primary & Primary Department
Qualifications:
• Masters of Education - Science Education. Bachelor of Education(Primary Science Education) Diploma in Primary Education Grade III (three) Teacher's Certificate
Must be computer literate.
Job Purpose and Experience for both posts:
• To develop curricula and curriculum related materials.
• At least four (4) years of teaching in a recognized Institution.
