1. Title: Director Finance (1 Position)

Reports to: Secretary General

Duty Station: Head Office

Job Purpose: The Director Finance will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of the financial management and accounting functions of the Society. In addition the job holder will be responsible to oversee the development and maintenance of the necessary support systems to safeguard assets, and financial operations of the Society.

2. Title: Director Health Services (1 Position)

Reports to: Secretary General

Duty Station: Head Office

Job Purpose: The Director Health Services is expected to lead initiatives for planning, technical support, monitoring and implementation and reporting of the URCS Health, Social and Commercial Services Programs in line with the URCS established systems, Strategy, National and international best practice/ standards on health and social services sectors.

3. Title: Coordinator Resource Mobilization

(1 Position)

Reports to: Secretary General

Duty Station: Head Office

Job Purpose: The Coordinator Resource Mobilization will be responsible for fundraising and mobilizing resources for the National Society. This position plays a key role in the determination of URCS resource mobilization goals, plans and Budgets. The position holder will ensure that all possible ways of fundraising are utilized in line with the Mandate of the URCS in this country.

4. Title: Finance Managers (2 Positions)

Reports to: Finance Director

Duty Station: Head Office

Job Purpose: The Finance Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring a system to generate funds, control expenditure and budget performance in line with URCS financial policies and regulations.

5. Title: Branch Managers (3 Positions)

Reports to: Technically to the Co-ordinator

Organizational Development & Volunteer

Management and Administratively to the

Branch Governing Board

Duty Station: Arua/ Nebbi/ Kabale

Job Purpose: The Branch Manager will be responsible for developing the Branch strategic plans and oversee their implementation; ensuring resources are in place to achieve budgeted performance targets and monitoring overallperformance against these.

6. Title: Blood Donor Recruitment Managers

(2 Positions)

Reports to: Technically to the Principal Medical

Officer - Gulu/Mbarara and

administratively to the Program Manager

Duty Station: Gulu/Mbarara

Job Purpose: The Blood Donor Recruitment Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective implementation of blood donor recruitment activities in the operational area. He/she will be responsible for the generation of proposals/ plans, implementation of BDR program plans and dissemination of quality information on blood donation and general URCS information in accordance with the URCS standards and guidelines.

7. Title: Finance Officers (2 Positions)

Reports to: Finance Manager

Duty Station: Head Office

Job Purpose: The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining a system of accountability of all project grants and URCS funds in line with URCS financial policies and regulations.

8. Title: Project Engineer - WATSAN (2 positions)

Reports to: Program Manager

Duty Station: Mbale/Hoima

Job Purpose: The Project Engineer WATSAN will be responsible for the management of all Watsan components (both Hard and software), programming, material, financial and human resources of the National Society within the project area.

9. Title: Project Focal Person - Health (1 position)

Reports: Operations Officer

Duty Station: Adjumani

Job Purpose: The Project Focal Person - Health will be responsible for mobilization and sensitization of refugees and host communities on reproductive health and family planning in compliance with existing URCS strategies and Ministry of Health guidelines. The job holder will be responsible for ensuring reduction in morbidity and mortality that arise as a result of reproductive health related concerns in the project implementation areas.

10. Title: Accounts Assistant (1 Position)

Reports: Finance Officer

Duty Station: Soroti

Job Purpose: The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for transaction recording and generation of information used for periodic reporting in compliance with URCS financial guidelines. The position holder will be responsible for maintaining appropriate accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate financial report are delivered to tight deadlines.
