Victoria University partners with Success Africa to launch the first ever Leavers’ Plug In

Victoria University in a bid to open up the university to the general public launched the “Leavers’ Plug-in™” .It is a program is designed by Success Africa to thoroughly equip participants with ‘street-smart’ tools and skills preparing them to effectively transition from a student mindset to a creative, problem solving and value adding young adult, ready to step into the world with enthusiasm, hope and a clear purpose.

Why The Leavers Plug In?

In this highly demanding, ever-changing and uncertain world, a young adult needs certain kinds of survival skills outside of the traditional protected academic and home environments. It is for this reason that we are focusing on areas like Public Speaking and Presentation, Personal Grooming and Branding, Choices – Decision Making, Financial Literacy and Career and Life Planning.

Dates :

28th March to 1st April 2016 from 8.30am to 1:00pm daily

Where  : Victoria University-Kampala

Who is attending?

S6 Vacists and the general public interested in areas like Public Speaking and Presentation, Personal Grooming And Branding, Choices – Decision Making, Financial Literacy and Career and Life Planning.

 

The Event’s Main Speaker:

Ethan Musolini is the CEO of Success Africa, a Success Coach, Motivational Speaker, Uganda’s leading Human Resource Consultant, and Author of many motivational books. He possesses a wealth of Personal Development experience which he has gathered over the years while consulting.

Ethan is also a columnist with Daily Monitor. He was one of the speakers at the first ever Victoria University Career day held last year. Feedback from students and parents that attended was phenomenal.

 

Other Speakers at the event will be:

Eugenia Criss:  Eugenia’s goal as a Transformational Leader is to be known for being personally vested in the human potential. She believes that Transformational Leadership is not about a title or designation. It is about impact, influence, and inspiration.

Lawrence Namale: Lawrence is a Life Coach, Author and Motivating Speaker who strives to deliver messages of hope, direction, and purpose for individual lives across the globe.

Anita Katiti Zikusoka: Anita has over 25 years’ experience in Human Resource Development. She’s passionate and has worked with the youth in the area of Personal Development for 10 years.

Samuel Bakutana ; a consultant, speaker and author.

Ken Kimuli ; a comedian also known as PABLO.
