Following the death of former Cranes goal keeper Abel Dhaira, Jinja side BUL FC officials have decided to dedicate Saturday's away league match against Soana FC to the fallen Uganda Cranes Number One.

According to the club's assistant coach David Kiwanuka, the players have decided to play their hearts out for a win away as a way of honoring their goal keeping coach Bright Dhaira, Abel's father.

''The players have vowed to put in a lot more effort so that they can fight for a win and dedicate it to the Dhaira family because of the contribution they have put in towards raising the standard of football in the country," says Kiwanuka .

In the reverse fixture, Soana beat BUL 1-0 at Kakindu Stadium with a loan goal scored by their former captain Patrick Asiku.

But BUL's captain Augustine Nsumba feels that his timely return may in turn give his side a psychological boost for the club's third away win of the season.

''We lost against them in Jinja but I believe that my teammates are capable of winning at any ground basing on the fact that we won at KCCA FC recently.

"We want to start winning games and somehow finish in a more decent position in the league," says Nsumba.
