Locals call for better roads in Soroti

Municipal council says the work on some roads under was briefly put on hold because of the last conclued elections

The L C 1 Madera Majengo B Northern Division Soroti Municipality, John Omunyin has expressed need for better roads in his area.
Omunyin says the municipal council has failed to complete Emonjong Amaitum road making transport for locals using that road hard especially if there is an emergency for example transporting patients to a health centers.
The chairman LC III Northern Division Joshua Edogu says there were some hicups that saw the work on this road come to a stand still citing campaigns as one of them.
EtopRadio caught up with Martin Agama the Acting Senior Assistant Town Clerk Northern Division who refered us to the Town Clerk saying he was in better postion to comment about this unfortunately, we could not reach the Town Clerk.
